We stayed at a hotel right across the street from the Arch in St. Louis. One of the girl's favorite things was to sit in the window and look down to the ground. I think we stayed on the 11th floor.
We rode inside the little cars to the top of the arch. It kind of felt like we had time travelled back to the 1960s.
We met our friends the Summers in St Louis. The kids loved running around the field by the Arch when we arrived.
We visited City Museum while in St Louis. It was an amazing array of tunnels, bridges, caves, slides and ladders. The kids and adults loved this museum. It was so fun and unique.
Layla on one of the many bridges at City Museum. Layla was a little nervous walking on these tall bridges and being able to see through the floor to the street below.
City Museum had an indoor skate park for running and jumping. No skateboarding allowed. Layla was a champ at sliding down the steep ramps.
The Arch was bigger and more magnificent than I had imagined.
