Jade is not walking yet

Jade is so cute!  However, she has not yet mastered the art of walking.  Yesterday she picked up my purse, swung it over her shoulder and "walked" around saying bye-bye.  She is not truly walking yet.  She walks around on her knees.  We are trying hard to get her to take those first steps but she crumbles and refuses to try. 

At Jade's first birthday we asked everyone to guess what date she would take her first steps.  The person who was the closest without going over was going to win a prize.  Unfortunately, everyone went over.  She has worn holes in the knees of many of her pants.  The other pants are all stained because of crawling through dirt at playgrounds.  The little stink is stubborn!
